Visit from Grandma Jan

I had a great visit with Grandma Jan recently. The best thing we did was visit the aquarium in Cincinnati. I just love to look at fish!

That crazy dog of mine! When it is really hot out, he likes to hitch a ride in the basket of my stroller on our walks. Pretty cute, huh?

Playing and Creeping

Here are a couple of videos from this week. Dad got video of me sitting and playing, and one of my favorite new game. I like to creep across the floor and knock down towers of blocks that mom and dad set up.

7 Months

Ok, seriously, this past month has flown by. I swear I was just on here telling everyone I was 6 mos. I've been keeping busy and have mastered the military crawl, as mom calls it. It is fun moving around getting to things I want. The end of summer is going to fly buy I am sure. I will be posting again soon with some more pictures and my adventures with swim lessons. I want to send out a special hello to my great-grand Pap and tell him I hope he feels better soon! I miss and love all of you!

Sitting Up

Yeah! Look what I can finally do all by myself! I am still working on crawling. Man, it is hard work. I can creep very little, but I really need to polish up my moves. I am also trying to figure out how to use a sippy cup, but I am not really into that yet. I hope everyone has a Happy 4th of July! I can't wait to see some fireworks...but something tells me I will be alseep before it gets dark.

My first vacation

I went with Uncle Ryan, Mom, and Dad out to Utah for 5 days. I had a really nice time and was such a good little boy. I saw and did so many "firsts": first airplane ride, first mountain, first desert, first zoo trip. I even got to ride in a golf cart! I spent a lot of time in the pool too. It was good to see my great Uncle Terry and Aunt Paula again. I can't wait to see and do more things! I think I might have gotten bit by the travel bug that always seems to bite mommy.

Here we are at Arches National Park in Moab, Utah. Mom was making such a fuss bundling me up so I wouldn't get sunburned. I look pretty sharp in my sunglasses and hat wouldn't you say?

Here I am with a rare albino alligator at the Hogel Zoo in Salt Lake City. I slept through seeing most of the other animals there.


Here I am in Uncle Terry's plane he built. Hmm, I wonder if I would make a good pilot someday?


Here is Daddy and Uncle Ryan getting ready to go on the Olympic Bobsled track. It went about 70 miles per hour and only lasted a minute. They both appear to have survived it. Is it my turn next to go on it?

6 months

My, oh my, where has time gone? I can't believe I am already 6 months old. I have already been so busy this month and just got back from my first vacation. I will post more detail about that later. Other than that I am just taking the world in. Everything is so neat and interesting! Here is a great picture of me and my buddy Uncle Ryan.
