Ready to Eat

I tried out my highchair for the first time today. I'll be ready for steak and potatoes or maybe even pizza in no time! I am pretty sure that Brutus is looking forward to me eating in my highchair soon too. I wonder why....

Meeting more family!

This month has been an exciting one getting to meet more of my family.

First up, I met Grandpa Schmid and Great-Grandpa Schmid along with Martha, Great Aunt Lynn and Uncle Tom.

Easter weekend, the weather finally cooperated and I got to met my Great-Grandpa and Grandma Rowland. I also got to meet my Great-Great Aunt Dorothy, my Great-Great Aunt Norma, my Great-Great Uncle Art, and my Great-Aunt Terri and Uncle Rick. It was a grand time getting spoiled and loved by them. I can't wait until I am old enough to join the rest of the family at the dinner table for all of the good food!

Waking Up

Here are a couple of videos of Alex waking up. He usually wakes up in a very good mood full of smiles and is ready to start his day! He is a little over 2 mos. in both videos.

My Grand Entrance

On December 15th, 2007 I decided I would grace the world with my presence. I made my grand entrance to the world at 3:47 pm and was promptly greeted by two beings that I have come to refer to as my parents. The woman, I call her "mom", is a gorgeous site to behold and is not to be outdone by the handsome man to whom I refer to as "dad". I felt love and peace in the air immediately when I was embraced by these two. I had been anticipating meeting them for the past nine months, but some how, I feel that we have been always been together.

My first few months have been relatively repetitive. I get loved and hugged by many people and go about my daily duties of eating, sleeping, playing, and filling up my diapers. I am enjoying life more and more each day. I am learning so much that I just want to take everything in that I possibly can. I have decided to start this blog for my family and friends to join in my adventures as I grow up.
